Day 9
After having our breakfast we all gathered outside the hotel to be told what was happening. Since the rugby lads were playing in a rugby game later, we were allowed to have our free time now. A lot of people just wandered around everywhere to find something to do, others went back into the town centre. Once we all had had our free time we all got ready to go to the field where the lads would be playing the other rugby team.
As soon as the game started there was constant action, i couldn't sit still in my seat anyway, even if i was doing the filming. Once we had won, they all shook hands out of respect and Ellie and Abbey got a photo of both teams together.
After everyone was changed, one of the french students from the other team asked us if we wanted to join them for tea. They had a small food buffet on with some thigs we hadn't tried before which tasted great. Once evryone was full and tired we all headed back to the hotel and had a bit of free time left before going to sleep.
Day 8
Once everyone had filled themselves up with some breakfast, Wayne, Sophie and Gav decided to go back to the college for the full afternoon and have a competition in gymnastics.
Once everyone had done some revision and had eaten their dinner, we all headed back to the gymnasium for some gymnastics. Everyone had a mess about to begin with, that was until Abbey, Ellie and Gav decided to have a game of Limbo. Within seconds everyone was wanting a game. As this went on, Sophie and Wayne organised the teams out for the competitions.
After this was the rope, who could climb the highest. In practice, Tyres climbed all the way to the top, only to find that when he came down his hands would burn from the rope. Trust me when i say that it was a long rope, almost the length of the Atrium!

When this had came to an end, the vault was next. The most impressive and successful lands were the winners. Most of the lads were good at this however, Sean jumped over the vault so graceful, it looked as if he had took gymnastic lessons when he was little!
The best however was yet to come as the floor involved being imaginative. As people were going onto the floor peolpe applauded and when they were on the floor they just turned up the volume on their phones and did a crazy dance which went to the beat. I can certainly say that the most memorable part of this for me was when James landed into the splits at the end. All of the lads including the teachers just seemed to look at him in pain, whereas James was just proving a point as he had told people he could do it.
The competitions involved the trampoline, the rope, the vault, and the floor. The trampoline competition was first and the competition was how many front or back sumersaults can be done in a minute. During the trampoline competition Myres was doing so many back sumersaults he made everyone dizzy just by watching!
Once the points were added everyone had a bit of free time before going to the local pub to do a pub quiz. The winner got the money it cost to play and celebrated by buyin a few drinks.
A great end to a great day.
Day 7
Today we all went for the usual breakfast buffet before we went to the school for our hourly revision. Some did course work, others just purely revised. After this Eve took us all to their sports field where everyone participated in at least one sport.
Some people decided to have a go at golf with Eve while everyone else had a game of football. Everyone took turns if anyone was starting to get tired and they all worked together as they were versing the french students.
After this we went inside to the gymnasium were everyone was going to have the opppertunity to have a go at Judo. While we waited for one side of the hall to be suitable for us to use we all wandered into the gymnasium that was full with brand new gymnastic equipment. The floor mats were so soft, they reminded me of a couch or a bed of some sort. By the time the Judo was set up, most people wanted to stay in the gymnasium so some of us went over to have a go at the Judo but kept changing over so everyone got a taste of everything. While we were in the gymnasium, most of the rugby lads had found that they could use their muscles in a different way and showed a talent for gymnastics.Eve even showed us some moves for gymnastics!
After a hard workout everyone went back to the hotel and had some free time to get a shower have food e.t.c. Since everyone was exercising all day, everyone got to sleep without hesitation when they were tired.

Day 6
Everyone had the usual breakfast as we knew that we would get hungry since we would be walking around alot. We went to the train station for half past 12 and arrived at Paris at half 1. We decided to go and see the Eiffel Tower today because we didn't have time to see it the same day as the Louvre. When we arrived at the Eiffel Tower some people decided not to go up either because they had been up before or that the que was too long. When some of the people qued up to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower, some people were trying to sell us all souvenirs. Some of us bought some stuff for our families, while others just haggled with them for pure entertainment.
After hours of queing we finally got to go right to the top and trust me when i say, the views were breathtaking.
After, on the way back down we all stopped in the gift shop to buy a souvenir. No one could belive the prices but when we realised that we wouldn't be coming back here we thought we might as well get what we want.
Since we had divided into two groups( one to see the Eiffel Tower, the other to shop) We decided to meet up at Louis Vuitton, to get there however, we took the underground to the Arc de Triomphe. The first time we all came here, Ben, Chris and Helen were with us, however because Sophie and Wayne weren't, we stopped for a bit and let them get a few photos, after all what's a trip without any memories. Luckily our meeting point wasn't that far away and we arrived on time with a little time to spare. When we had all rejoined one another, a few people went to Nike and Adidas, while others popped over the road to Quick to get some food. Within an hour we were all back and were ready to go back to our hotel.
Day 5
Today everyone got up as usual today and had their breakfast while they waited for the new teachers (Wayne and Sophie) to arrive. Ben and Helen had gone home last night, which meant Gav was left with everyone. When Wayne and Sophie arrived, they went to unpack while the rugby lads had a match to play.
As soon as we all arrived at Lycee Lagny the lads began their training as soon as possible with the students from Lycee Loineree. To begin with our college had a game of rugby with Lycee Loineree and then after, both of the teams mixed together to play another team. This was more challenging for our students however we still won them, which made everyone feel victorious.
When the game ended everyone shook hands out of respect and we all had a barbeque. The food was delicious and we all got a selection of drinks as well. When the barbeque finished, we all went back to the hotel and had a bit of free time. Some people prepared for our next visit to Paris when back, however some people celebrated our victory before falling asleep.

Day 4
As the majority of the girls slept silently and went to breakfast all of the rugby team including the teachers jogged to the track in the park which was 10 hundred metre lengths and jogged back. People on the more physical side were challenged to do 200 meter lengths after before jogging back to the hotel. Although everyone was really tired when they came back, everyone tried not to complain as they were going to Paris later on.
When we reached the train station, we all bought our tickets however as we went on the train we jumped off quickly thinking we had been mistaken however it when we realised that it was it hadn't left the station yet. Getting confused on the first train on our own wasn't the best thing to boost our self esteem. When we arrived at our first sight seeing (Arc de triomphe) everyone got their cameras out and snapped a few shots of the magnificent building. Before we left this building, Ellie took a photo of everyone with the Arc de triomphe in the background.
While we were walking, some people stopped for ice cream since everyone was boiling hot. As we approached the Louvre, we all realised that there was a lot of entertainment on the streets. There was people trying to sell Key rings, Some people bought bracelets and some people tried to sell us souvenirs.
As we stood outside the Louvre, all of us got our cameras out and snapped shots at the famous building. Within ten minutes, everyone had their photos and some people decided to relax outside and enjoy the glorious sun while others went inside the Louvre to explore the amazing paintings.
As the end of the day approached, everyone was tired and I can certainly say that everybody, had an early night so they were ready and prepared for the next day.
Day 3
The morning started with our usual breakfast buffet, making us all prepared and ready for the day. Once we were finished, some went back to the hotel where they could finish getting dressed and other just relaxed till everyone was ready to go. When everyone was ready (Ellie and Abbey with their cameras and Charlotte and Laimis with the video cameras) we set off to the school to do our usual revision and to do rugby training.
For dinner most people decided to go to 'Chelles 2' for there food. Some got paninis, others chinese, but most people went to the Carrefour shop to get some bagettes and juice.
When we arrived back at the school, some of the French students led the way to the rugby pitch and everyone was beginning to get tired from walking, the pitch was so far away. I can certainly say that anyone who does PE for A-level won't take the distance to our facilities for granted anymore!
When everyone arrived at the rugby pitch it was slightly cold.Nothing but a good amount of rugby training to warm you up! When everyone was ready, the English and French students took to the pitch and Eve coached them through this. As all of this was happening, Abbey and Ellie stood on the sidelines taking photos while Charlotte and Laimis took some footage of the training.
When everyone was warm and tired we all decided to head back to the hotel and everyone had the chance to do what they wanted for the rest of the night. Most people went back to ' Chelles 2' as Paris was tomorrow and people didn't want to spend loads of money there as we all knew that the prices would be dear. Once everyone had eaten and prepared for the next day, some headed to the local bar to wind down before bed and others just relaxed in there rooms before going to sleep.

Day 2- Racing Rugby Academy
After doing our revision, we all went to see the Racing Rugby Acadamey train for their next match. When we arrived, the grounds wered flooded with photographers and camera people, I guess us two fit right in. Within 30 minutes they had moved further around leaving space for all of us to get a good view and to see how intense they trained.

Day 1
As we all approached Newcastle airport, mixed emotions were beginning to show. “I love airports” “I’m tired” “I love the sounds of suitcases rolling on the floor”. Everyone appeared to be excited yet tired, almost as if we were all still awake by pure adrenaline. To prove how excited everyone was, as we were all waiting to check in, people were getting their bags and weighing them, sitting on the luggage trolleys and helping themselves to a well deserved Greggs. As everyone successfully went through customs, all, what was left to do was to relax and wait for our plane to board.
As we all boarded the plane, people were just realizing how light it had becamesince their arrival to the airport. Everyone was shocked at how small the plane was, no one could walk down the aisle without hitting another passenger with their bag. As soon as we were in the air the blue sky began to shine through the windows and lighten the inside of the plane. Within half an hour most people were asleep so they could recharge their batteries for when they arrived in Paris.
As soon as we arrived we had a warm welcome to the school with Myriam as she was waiting for us at the airport to take us to our hotel. On the journey to our hotel everyone changed their watches to the right time so they wouldn’t get confused by the time change anymore. Before we went to the college, we placed all of our luggage that we didn’t need into a room that would keep it all safe.
We can certainly say that when we arrived at the school, we certainly gave them an impression. Everyone was looking at us wondering who we are and some of the students were shouting out of the windows, saying how beautiful the girls were. Of course the girls were flattered, until they got told to be careful and to always walk around with the rugby guys. The school gave us a great welcoming as they showed their appreciation by putting on a buffet. The nuts were addictive, the cheeses were really creamy and some of the food was recognizably French as a few people didn’t understand what everything was. Still everyone tried a bit of everything and soon the table became empty looking.
Luckily there was a shopping centre right next to the school and our hotel so we decided to have a look around before heading back to the hotel. The shopping centre was called ‘ Chelles 2’ and it didn’t take the girls long to discover H’n’M. Within minutes everyone was in the shop seeing if the stock was the same or not. After we had had a look at everything we all went back and went to go into our rooms, By now we were all tired and could do with a sleep.
At 5 o'clock we went around town to get some food however most of the restaurants opened at 7 so we decided to walk back to the hotel and go to the chinese restaurant on the way back. I think we took the owners by suprise as 24 of us entered hoping to eat till our hearts content. The food was delicious and the fact we could get free refilled drinks was a relief.
Because of the food we had just had, most people had became hyper and their tiredness was gone. After doing everything, it already felt like we had been there a few days.
